Grade II listed Duck Cottage is a pretty brick and flint former estate cottage, situated in the village of Letheringsett, one mile from the Georgian town of Holt.
The cottage is tucked away on a rural lane just past Letheringsett Mill and along the lane leading to the ford crossing the River Glaven. The Cottage has a large, pretty cottage garden with a small pond and summerhouse.
The property is comfortably furnished, offering homely accommodation, with all you need for a quiet holiday in the country.

The accommodation
The spacious accommodation with NSH throughout, comprises:
Lounge, with ample seating, TV, DVD player, games and books. Separate kitchen with a range of base units, cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. Separate dining area. Door leading to the sun room with sofabed. Utility room with washing machine, separate WC and wash basin. Stairs from hallway lead to the first floor. Double bedroom with storage and space for a cot. Separate bedroom with full-size bunk beds. Bathroom with bath, WC and wash basin and wall mounted heater.
Outside is a large, attractive cottage garden with summerhouse and fishpond (NB for those with small children this can be covered). Garden furniture and BBQ provided.

Letheringsett
The pretty village of Letheringsett, overlooking the Glaven Valley, is home to the last working water mill in Norfolk. The village is less than one mile from the Georgian market town of Holt, with excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants. Letheringsett is an excellent base for visiting the coast at Blakeney, Cley-next-the-Sea and Sheringham.
Inland are the pretty villages of Thornage, Little Thornage and Hunworth. The village itself offers country walks by the river towards Little Hunworth. The village has a pub and restaurant, The Kings Head, within walking distance. Just up the road is the award winning Back to The Garden Farm Shop.
